The manufacturer can log into Gravity with their own credentials to enter production updates and booking information. Information is then visible to the retailer, immediately, transparently.
Additionally, data is automatically updated in existing systems, also without needing manual entry. Not only does having a single data instance save time and costs, but also improves the data’s quality by reducing errors that invariably creep in at each step.
With Gravity’s focus on a contemporary user experience (UX) allied with real-time data capture, the door opens to the possibility of predictive analytics. Analytics can give users the information they need to react to changes in demand, for instance. Additionally, as problems/glitches/changes occur, all stakeholders are aware in real-time and can react accordingly.
Since the changes wrought by bring-your-own-device (BYOD) in recent years, we all expect now to see and interact with data wherever we are. And this needs to take place on a range of devices often found away from the traditional desktop.
